Alianza Peruvian Horse Ranch is in the central Colorado mountains on Squaw

Creek Road in Edwards, Colorado, 15 miles west of Vail. We have been breeding,

showing, trail riding, and generally enjoying Peruvian Paso Horses since 1979. The

owner, Jack Zehren, has served on both Regional and National association boards,

and was instrumental in the formulation of the North American Peruvian Horse

Association – NAPHA.

Horse Ranch Caretaker

Position open as of September 1, 2023.

Includes on-site housing provided. Located at 1513 Squaw Creek Road, Edwards, Colorado.

The position entails the daily feeding and care of horses (six currently), general maintenance and up-keep of the property, snow plowing in the winter, and coordination of outside sources for things such as farrier, hay delivery, and irrigation. The time involved estimated at 20 to 30 hours per week. Compensation will include the use of the cabin with utilities and hourly compensation beyond the value of the cabin rent.
